‘Lunch with a Legend’ is your chance to dine with a cricket star. This once-in-a-lifetime hospitality package lets you enjoy an exclusive meal for a maximum of only 90 people with two cricketing legends plus the event is hosted by broadcasting icon Jonathan ‘Aggers’ Agnew. After a delicious three-course meal served to you in the Long Room of the Kia Oval in Surrey you will listen to two speakers England’s fast bowler Darren Gough and Sri Lanka’s all-time greatest batsman Mahela Jayawardene. Enjoy complimentary beers wines and soft drinks with your meal before the first speaker takes to the stage to take you through their amazing career and tell you tales and anecdotes before the second speaker does the same. At the end of each speaker's turn you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you are dying to know the answers to. It will be a fantastic day in the company of legends.
When you arrive from 12.00 you will be shown to the hospitality area where you can enjoy a drink from the complimentary bar. Around 12.30 you will be seated in the Long Room and enjoy a delicious three-course lunch with wine. At 14.00 the first speaker will take to the stage Mahela Jayawardene the Sri Lankan Legend followed by Darren Gough after a short break. Your host for the event will be Jonathan Agnew who will ensure the event runs smoothly and you will have the opportunity for photographs with the three stars during the day.
