The Whisky Mavericks are a team of specialists enthusiasts and experts who have assembled to give you a fun and out-of-the-ordinary whisky tasting experience. These whisky superheroes want to share their passion with the world so take yourselves along for an afternoon of entertainment information and tasting. Describing themselves as a ‘whisky circus’ the Whisky Mavericks run exciting sessions at a choice of 21 locations across the UK including Aberdeen Cardiff London and Leeds and provide the guests with a whisky tasting session which is enjoyable for both the novice drinker and the self professed malt head. The Top Gear team of the whisky world the Mavericks will guide you through the secrets of perfect whisky production and some scandalous tales from the industry and the history of the elixir. You’ll delight in this whistle stop tour of all things whisky; tasting five delicious drams and learning how to mix up a perfect whisky cocktail. This tasting experience is serious about good whisky yet a more informal and fun-focussed occasion than a traditional tasting.
You'll be greeted by your host with a punch (a drink not in the face) and taught how to recreate the tasty tipple at home. The session is fun and sociable with up to 35 whisky fans enjoying the drams and having a laugh together. During your fun-filled session you will receive expert tuition on rare and unique types of whisky the fascinating and sometimes surprising tales that have made whisky what it is today. You'll taste five further samples and learn how to mix and serve a perfect whisky cocktail. The session will also include fun surprises such as unlikely pairings games gimmicks or experiments. Every session is different.
