Just by the River Thames lies Vinopolis. This unique wine attraction is located beneath the Victorian arches of London Bridge. It is a splendid setting for you and a lucky friend or partner to enjoy a Classic Wine Tasting Experience for Two. You will each receive twelve tokens to use during your visiting time. These tokens can be used to purchase samples or wine and Champagne which vary from one to four tokens each. You will enjoy learning all about the process of winemaking and find out how climate plays a part in the taste of the wine. You will also get to explore the contrasting historic and modern flavours of Georgian and English wines as well as wines from all over the world. Before any of this however you will enjoy a ‘how to taste wine’ session where you are shown the perfect technique for appreciating the flavours and aromas.
On arrival at Vinopolis you will begin with a 15 minute ‘How to Taste Wine’ session in the theatre you will be shown how to perfect your ‘sniff swirl and slurp technique’ before embarking on your journey of discovery into the world of wine enjoying state of the art technology to enhance your learning and sampling. As you venture through the interactive tasting and educational zones you will be able to spend your drink tokens on a huge range of samples of your choice including all wines as well as Champagnes from prestigious Champagne house Canard-Duchêne. Along your journey through the Vinopolis arches don’t forget to explore the Tapas Bar and the Discovery Zone dedicated to the contrasting historic and modern flavours of Georgian and English wines.
