Description
Experience the thrill of sailing at Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week 2014. You will enjoy the VIP Race Experience including full tuition a packed lunch and Champagne to celebrate. You will spend the day onboard a Beneteau 40.7 yacht with a professional skipper and first mate. This experience is perfect for novices and adept sailors alike. You will learn the skills from the knowledgeable skipper so you can be part of the effective team as you set off on an exhilarating race. You will race against Olympians professional sailors families and novices in this exciting and inclusive sailing event. The race will finish mid-afternoon and you can enjoy a leisurely trip back to the Cowes Yacht Haven where you will enjoy access to the VIP hospitality area including a Champagne reception. This wonderful experience will create lasting memories for any fan of sailing.
On the day you will arrive and register at the hospitality area between 08.30 and 09.00. You will then meet your skipper and first mate and board your yacht to receive a full safety briefing after which you will set sail for tuition. Later in the morning the race will start and at lunchtime you will enjoy a packed lunch on board. The racing will finish mid-afternoon the finish time will vary depending on the conditions of the day. Back at the Cowes Yacht Haven you will enjoy a glass of complimentary Champagne at a VIP table in the hospitality area until 20.00. You are free to explore the wonderful town of Cowes or stay and mingle with music until midnight.
