Enjoy a one day excursion to the magical city of Bruges. This medieval site is even more beautiful at Christmas when you will get the chance to explore the Belgium city in the midst of winter. Browse the Bruges Market Square complete with an ice rink and the many festive stalls forming a ring around the outdoor rink. You’ll really feel like you’ve stepped back in time on the cobbled streets of Bruges with its medieval buildings and even horse and carts. You’ll find plenty of lovely things to fill stockings with such as unique hand-made decorations festive candies and excellent chocolates that are gorgeously wrapped. The wonderful atmosphere will really get you in the mood for a traditional Christmas with sparkling lights illuminating the square. Grab a nice hot beverage to warm you up after all that shopping or try the distinguished local beer before jumping back on the coach. Your experience includes the return journey from London on the coach and ferry plus plenty of free time for Christmas shopping and exploring the historic city.
You will be picked up by your coach at approximately 06.00 from one of five pick-up points in London. Enjoy luxury coach travel to Dover where you will board the ferry to Calais. From Calais you will travel to Bruges and arrive at approximately 13.30. Explore the stalls and take in the wonderful festive atmosphere of this European Christmas Market. At 17.00 you will board the coach again and head back to Calais. You will arrive in London at approximately 23.00 after a fantastic one-day trip to Bruges.
