This Full Day Fly Fishing Adventure is perfect for someone who has little or no experience with fly fishing as well as 'improvers'. Get stuck in with this full day course at Rutland Water. You can enjoy the full introductory package that covers all the essential elements of fly fishing on land and water including tackle set up the art of casting and what flies to use. Rutland Fly Fishing Adventures provide award winning tuition. In the morning you'll learn all about the sport and the basic skills required. You’ll discover how to read the lake before setting out on a motor boat for the afternoon. You will test out your newly developed skills on one of the world’s finest trout lakes and have a superb day out with guidance from an experienced professional every step of the way. At the end of your tday you will have gained confidence in your fishing and if you are successful you'll be entitled to take home up to two lovely trout.
When you arrive at the lakeside fishing lodge at 10.00 you will be met by your instructor with tea/coffee refreshments and receive a short introductory briefing. In the morning you will cover the basics of fly fishing including tackle set up the art of casting how to read the lake and which flies to use. In the afternoon you will head out onto the lake and put your new skills to the test.
