Description
The Half Day Fly Fishing Adventure is perfect for anyone looking to get their first taste of the sport. You will spend 4 hours with an experienced professional angler learning the skills and knowledge for fly fishing. Having won awards for their tuition you can be sure you are in capable hands as the instructors take you through each step with clear instruction. Once you have learnt all about the art of casting and which flies to use you will be taken out on the shores of Rutland Water one of the UK’s finest trout lakes. Everything is included in this experience including light refreshments and if you are lucky enough to catch something you can take up to two fine trout home.
When you arrive at the Rutland Water lakeside lodge at 10.00 you will be greeted by your instructor with tea/coffee/light refreshments and receive a briefing before you starting your session. You will learn all the knowledge and skills necessary to start fly fishing and then you will take to the water and fish till 14.00. Rutland Water is the largest still water trout fishing lake in the UK and you can enjoy trying out all your new skills fly fishing from the bankside. At the end you may take home up to two fish if you are lucky enough to catch some.
