Feel what it’s like to fly with the exciting new water sport – Flyboarding. You will be fitted with the ‘Big Crazy’ boots that are attached to the flyboard. At the end of a fifteen metre hose affixed to your feet is a jet ski that will propel you into the air. This innovative water sport is unique and resembles something from a super hero movie. Jason from the Gadget Show described the flyboard as “like Iron Man made real!” this machine uses the water to lift your body into the air so you can hover above the waves. You will receive plenty of guidance and instruction prior to taking to the water and during your flight to ensure you get the most out of your experience. A favourite manoeuvre if you are able to master the flyboard is ‘The Dolphin’ which has you diving in and out of the water. It will be an exciting new activity for any water sports fan or those looking to experience a taste of human flight.
When you arrive at your chosen centre in Bristol or Chepstow you will be put into groups of two or three participants and will receive a full safety briefing and a pre-flight technical course that demonstrates how the flyboard operates. Once you have covered everything you will change into a wetsuit and safety equipment all of which is provided for you. You will enjoy 15 minutes on the flyboard with continuous instruction to ensure you get the most from your experience. Afterwards you can purchase a film of your flight for an additional £20 if you wish.
