Shadow A Zookeeper for a Day at Dartmoor Zoo

  Become members of the keeper team for a day at Dartmoor Zoo in Devon and experience all aspects of animal care daily events and more. This is very much a hands on experience and will give you both an insight in to the amazing amount of work that goes on behind the scenes at one of Britain’s top Wildlife Parks. You’ll get stuck in with mucking out prepare tasty meals and snacks for the animals help with their daily exercises and interact with several birds reptiles and mammals. You’ll give the keeper team a hand with daily events and leave with lots of interesting new knowledge and memories that you’ll treasure forever. You’ll have a break for a tasty lunch before getting back to work and you’ll each receive a souvenir certificate as a special reminder of your animal adventure.

On arrival at the zoo the two of you can enjoy refreshments before being greeted by a member of the keeper team and given a briefing on the day’s activities. You will take part in all aspects of animal care including cleaning food preparation feeding walking the animals and helping out at daily events. Also included will be time spent with a variety of birds reptiles insects and mammals. This is a fun and exciting day and you will be presented with a certificate each as souvenirs.
