Learn to navigate the skies with a Silverstone Helicopter Lesson. Where better than the home of the British Grand Prix? so whether you’re a fan of flying or driving you can take something away from this experience. Your 20 minute session will count as the first step towards your Private Pilot’s Licence should you wish to continue on to become a professional aircraft pilot. You will learn to fly with guidance from a qualified flight instructor who will show you the ropes before allowing you to take the controls. This is a fantastic place to get your first taste of flying; high above the world-renowned race circuit. Suitable for anyone over the age of 12 there is no reason not to try this extraordinary and unforgettable experience.

When you arrive at the venue you will be met by your instructor and small group of fellow participants. After a pre-flight briefing on safety and techniques you will board the helicopter. You will spend 20 minutes in the air both as a passenger and as the pilot. This time will be split between three separate flights of 6 to 7 minutes each as a group of three each taking turns to fly. Your instructor will be on-hand at all times to guide and assist you during your lesson. Afterwards you will receive a debriefing and a certificate commemorating your breathtaking helicopter flying experience.
