Are you a natural comic a class clown or a dry witted character? This three hour stand up comedian experience will show you how to improve your natural skills and give a basic introduction to stand up comedy all with the help of some very funny headline comedy acts!
Once your experience has been booked you will be sent a short routine to learn before you attend the course. This will allow the professionals to see your natural skills before deciding which main parts you can perfect. This experience is for complete beginners and the tutors will guide you throughout. With only twelve people per course you are guaranteed some one to one tuition. This could even be the start of a great new career. This experience will allow you to learn the basics of becoming a stand up comic from a headline comedian from Jongleurs and the Comedy Store. The session will start with each student learning microphone techniques how to structure a joke like the professionals and how to deliver those funny punch lines. You will also learn two joke writing techniques which will be the foundation of your routine. You will be taught simple joke writing performance skills and microphone techniques and will perform a short stand up routine in front of other participants during this exciting three hour session.
