Description
Enjoy a European break with a Two Night Holland and Belgium Weekend Getaway for Two. You will cross the channel and stay in the lovely Dutch village of Monnickendam only a 25 minute drive from the heart of Amsterdam. Once you arrive in Holland you will check into your hotel and then spend the evening folllowing your evening meal and 2 hour free bar as you wish. There is plenty to see and do; get a taste of Holland with a visit to the cheese and clog factory alongside your hotel on the lake. You will enjoy a guided tour of Amsterdam in the morning but if you can’t wait that long you can jump on a bus and explore the vibrant city by night. After a comfortable night’s sleep you will set out to see Amsterdam with an optional one-hour boat cruise. On the final day you will head to Bruges famous for its architecture and chocolate. Pick up some souvenirs before you make your journey back to the UK.
You will be picked up from London at approximately 06.00 and set out on your journey. At Dover you will board the ferry to Calais and from there carry on by land through France Belgium and the Netherlands. You should arrive at your hotel at approximately 18.00 and can relax and enjoy an evening meal and 2 hour free bar or explore the local area at your leisure. The next morning you will receive breakfast and then head out for a guided tour of Amsterdam. You will have the option of a canal boat cruise and return to your hotel at 18.30 with the evening free for you to spend as you wish. On the third and final day of your trip you will check out the hotel at 09.00 and arrive in Bruges around midday. Explore the city until 16.30 when you will depart and make your return coach and ferry trip back to London with an approximate arrival time of 23.00.
